Dina El Dabe

EDUCATION

Dina El Dabe received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Ms. El Dabe also attended Southwestern University School of Law. Half of her law school career included her acceptance and participation in the law school’s advanced trial advocacy program, where she learned crucial trial techniques and tactics. She participated in a nationwide trial advocacy competition and ranked 8th in California. As part of her participation in the program, two law school professors awarded Ms. El Dabe with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. The award is presented annually to a graduate member of the law school who demonstrates high achievement in trial practice, evidence and pleading and procedure courses.

EXPERIENCE

Ms. El Dabe has in depth knowledge of landlord/tenant law and Unlawful Detainers. She has handled over 200 Unlawful Detainer matters and at least 75 Unlawful Detainer bench trials throughout Los Angeles, representing both landlords and tenants. Prior to forming El Dabe Law Firm, Ms. El Dabe was an associate with a firm in Sherman Oaks, learning from a top landlord/tenant attorney. Ms. El Dabe also exercised her trial skills while working for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office as a Certified Law Clerk for two summers. In that capacity, she conducted over 50 felony preliminary hearings and two misdemeanor jury trials.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Ms. El Dabe is admitted to practice in California, the United States Central District Court, and the United States Southern District Court. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
